Theatrical and improvisational workshops combine circus with theatre or theatre
improvisation teaching confidence before an audience, team work. Preparing
individuals for voice projection, mind & body preparation for performance.

Storytelling &
Acting
Children are each given a
fun hat or mask to wear
and Julia Gayle explains that
all stories have a beginning, a
middle & an end. Each child is
called on to help tell a short
storyline that connects to the
hat that he/she is wearing.
The child or children in
question who relate to that
part of the story act out the
storyline in the middle of the
circle.

MAGIC WORKSHOPS
Different levels of magic to suit
children aged five years and
upwards.
The workshops includes
teaching the children a variety
of magic tricks as well as
performing them to their
workshop class or parents.

PUPPET WORKSHOPS - Using a combination of hand puppets
& "child friendly" marionettes children have a chance to create
their own PUPPET THEATRE COMPANY for the workshop session.

The children are taught storytelling using the puppets as well
as developing al characters for each individual puppet.

Older children join into pairs or small groups and develop their own
puppet shows. The shows are then performed to the group.

The emphasis of the workshop is on creative storylines, imaginitive
characterizations and the art of puppetry.

BALLOON ART

Teaching the basic
fundamentals of balloon
twisting, children of all ages
are taught different twists
and can choose their own
animals or comedy hat to
create. For on-going
workshops the sculptures
become more advanced as
the children master the
creative technique.
